Mission Statement
The mission of Temple Chai is to provide
an atmosphere of acceptance and inclusiveness in which to worship
God, in a manner consistent with the tenets of Reform
Judaism.
…to welcome all who wish to pray and
learn, celebrate and mourn together;
…to affirm the inherent dignity, honor,
and integrity of every human being as b’tzelem elohim, created in God’s image;
…to be dedicated to Torah, avodah and
gemilut chasadim, engaging in the study of Torah, developing
meaningful worship, and performing acts of loving kindness;
…so that congregants may grow in wisdom
and knowledge of relevant Judaism, committed to serving our
community, our country, and all humanity in partnership with God;
…to attain tikkun olam, the healing
of the world.
