Bet HaChayim
House of Life
Memorial Gardens
The past year has
seen many achievements for Temple Chai in its commitment to provide
for all of our members, at times of joy and in times of sorrow.
Our Congregation now
has its own cemetery, Bet HaChayim (House of Life), located at
Mission Park North Cemetery, 20900 IH 10 West. This cemetery is
consecrated land dedicated to Jewish observance and tradition. We
have purchased over 200 ground burial spaces and plan to offer
above-ground mausoleums.
Seeing to the secure
and proper burial of loved ones has always been a primary concern of
Jewish life. Early in the Torah, we read of how the patriarch,
Abraham, sought burial rights for his own immediate family and for
the generations of his family still to come. Some of our Temple
families have already given serious and thoughtful consideration to
these needs. Hopefully, other member families will follow their
example and consider pre-need arrangements in the Temple Chai
cemetery now that it is available.
We know
this is an important decision and we are here to help you. For more
information, please call the office at 302-6958 or Elliot Weser, M.D., Cemetery Committee Chair: 260-9102 or 828-0352.
