Rabbi Robert Kirzner, who is an full-time educator at the Austin Jewish Academy, will lead our services on the second Friday of each month beginning in Sept. 2009. Rabbi Kirzner is also available for life cycle events including baby namings,
bar and bat mitzvahs, weddings, and funerals.
Rabbi David Lipper from Houston will lead our services on the fourth Friday of each month.
TEMPLE CHAI SEDER
Temple Chai will host a seder on the second night of Passover in the Holzman Auditorium Tuesday, March 30 at 6:30 pm. The event was organized by the Temple Chai Brotherhood and is open to the entire Jewish community.
The Seder will be led by Elliot Weser, MD. Dinner will be catered by Irene Rodriguez and the menu will include a kosher family style dinner, including gefilte fish, chicken matzoh ball soup, chicken breast with mushroom sauce, a vegetable, potato kugel, & dessert.
The cost per person, including children, is $22.00. The same fee applies to both members and non-members of Temple Chai.
